One of the real pleasures of blogging is meeting new and kindred spirits! Debbie Schramer is my latest 'find', a creative soul to the core, who lives and breathes fairy wonderment into our world. Debbie and I have been chatting via email the last couple of weeks, almost daily! She has so much to share, and truly feels like an 'old friend'. A few of you may recall seeing her fairy treasures in 'Victoria' years ago (Feb. 1991) when she reached instant stardom with a 6-page spread of her work. Now she lives and works in the heart of 'Tinseltown' - Beverly Hills, but her art speaks more of rich flowered meadows and beautiful old gnarled trees... Inspired by Natures bounty Debbie and her husband Mike create homes, castles, bowers, and furniture any fairy would be proud to own! They are filled with magic, and delicate details, making me wish I could shrink in size and pop in for a visit... Words don't even begin to describe the alchemy of enchantment one finds in her tiny treasures...
