Look at these wonderfully humorous knitted pieces by Dutch artist Felieke van der Leest! (found via the blog: In A Minute Ago) Most of them are Jewery! but I really like the "curtain birds" too... I find it very clever to combine knitting with tiny plastic toys. She makes these pieces look so NEW and contemporary, while keeping tradition in check!
