Daily love and attention

As I was looking out our kitchen window I realized that lo and behold every one of my 9 orchids is in bloom today! These are anywhere from 3 to 7 years old and keep coming back year after year. My mum keeps asking me: "What do you feed them?" and I always say nothing. Truly these babies thrive because of the ideal light and the daily attention they get when we do the dishes... It's true what they say about talking to your plants, this is proof... I am off to teach my Easter Egg class today in the South Bay.
