Life As A Living Theatre

Dreamwebready

I adore the idea of making life a living theatre. No matter where one stands, the stage awaits... "Drawing on water mythology and history unique to Tasmania, Dream Masons a new spectacle by Redmoon Artistic Director Jim Lasko, designer Joey Van der Hoeven, and director and puppeteer Jessica Wilson, transforms the facade of the iconic Salamanca Arts Centre (SAC) into an awesome theatrical spectacle of grand proportions." A building facade becomes the ultimate in 'silent film' display... Press HERE for a real treat!

Haunting Images for 'Save Nimble'

Nimble_style

"The ultimate goal of this film is to let the viewer’s mind wander with creativity, with the renewed spark of imagination. When the film is completed, Nimble will make children smile with mischief, and adults smile like children." What more could one ask for? The film-maker writes, "to support hospitalized children and their families emotionally, socially and developmentally, I intend to donate any/all proceeds from the presentation/distribution of this short film to the Children’s Memorial Hospital, so that more children can find the mischief in their very own fairy tales." Save Nimble! will surely brighten all our hearts!

Luminous Whimsy and Morning Tenderness From Frederic in Paris

Frederic Clement is a master of storytelling and whimsical visions. Who else could ask us to 'seek an eel in a haystack' or 'find the name at the end of language? Tell us about 'crocodile tears', or discuss 'shivers of eternity...'? Only Frederic can paint us such poetry... (translate with Alta Vista)
October 10th was the opening of the 'Luminus Tour' exhibition at the gallery L'Art à la Page, in Paris and Florizelle shows us a peek into dear Frederics art... His talent crosses many mediums and I am a true addict of his tenderly poetic and beautiful short films called Clements Songes look especially at his So Butterfly Song... true tenderness when we need it most...
Merci Florizelle, Merci Frederic!

A Day With The Queen

Unknown1_11

Like a picture book come to life, the candy-tale MARIE ANTOINETTE seeps into ones memory, and keeps court with our romantic visions. Today Florizelle invites us to partake in the beauty and splendor of The Teen Queen and pretend she is a dear friend... Come drink coffee from a lovely cup by the Musees de France, in a room painted in Queenly Colors by Emery & Cie. Sit on silk cushions created by Lelievre while nibbling delicate Laduree macaroons... Perfume yourself with "Sillage de la Reine" the perfume of Marie Antoinette recreated by Francis Kurkdijan :rose, iris, cut jasmine, tuberose and orange blossom, modulated by fine woody touches of cedar and sandalwood and two magnifcent base notes ,tonkin musk and grey amber. And to top our fantasy off, play with your little daughter wearing a dress (also sold at the Musees de France on-line shop) inspired by the portrait of the 7 years old Marie Antoinette by the exquisite Jean-François Liotard... THANK YOU FLORIZELLE for making our Queenly dreams come true!!!
