Thank You and Progress!
I think I am finally on the mend from a nasty bout of the flu! Thank you to everyone who commented and emailed me, notes like yours can't help but make me heal faster!!! As its been over 100 degrees in this part of California, the heat didn't help my recovery, but it seems a bit cooler today, and I am happier... The best thing about being sick for me is that I can day-dream about creative projects all day long... So here are a couple of things that are inspiring me right now. English Mahogany 'Clock Tower', makes my head spin with Miniature ideas!!! Look at that staircase! And the work of Ibride out of France. Who couldn't use an ostrich table??? ~more soon...

So glad you are feeling better! Just want to say once again how much I look forward to seeing your blog daily. You give me such a lift of spirits when I see all the incredible art that is out there in this world....thank you a million times.

Glad to hear you are feeling better Ulla!
It's hard to believe it is so hot there, since it's raining and cold here today.
What and amazing clock and fanciful table. You always find the coolest things!
Keep feeling better and better!

Hello Ulla!
Loved the staircase, it reminds me of the "chef d'oeuvres des Compagnons du devoir" - after an apprenticehip around France with different masters, carpenters, cabinet makers, artisans, builders etc who have learnt their trades with a Compagnon ( very highly skilled and experience artisans) have to make a work of art to prove they can be Masters too. They are models of real-life objects in absolutely fantastic details.
