Dacha Fairytale...

13

I have a longstanding fantasy of one day owning and living in a Dacha! Not just any Dacha mind you, but one that is deep in the woods, where a secret meadow lies, and looks a lot like THIS ONE! If you are in Russia, I believe this beauty is up for grabs...

Great post! Brilliant work...

Where have I been. I've never seen such an exterior nor such an interior. Beyond gorgeous.

I would love to rest there few days and then take my " roulotte" ( "trailer") to go to St Petersburgh for the ball

Oh my gosh! Now that would make one terrific b&b, wouldn't it?

Wooah!! That's just BRILLIANT!
Thanks for your sweet words on my blog Ulla.... it's great to have artistic parents eh :)
All the best to you and your inspiring creative corner :)

Fantastic post!!!
I sing....la la lariiiii...( Doctor Zhivago ) (By the way: the winter scenes with the Dacha in the movie were filmed in Spain, near to me, in SORIA, not in Russia )...:)

May I come to stay for a week if you do?

Hugs! Nancy

I would like to own a datcha near yours! Thanks to show us these pictures of dreams!

It's like "Hansel and Gretel meets Dr. Zhivago". I would leave bread crumbs so I could make my way back (to Omar Sharif.

Hi Ulla,
You have seen our Russian window surround that hangs at AH, right? Now I know what the rest of the house must have looked like! Thanks for the education.
Sharon
