'Animals Masked Ball' Class in Ulla's Studio
Sunday, I had 5 women, a group of friends, take a class in my studio. I thought it would be fun to do a paper theatre where we focus on the characters rather than the background. We used oval boxes for our base, and paper theatre sheets for the backgrounds. I then had them chose 'characters' from paper theatre sheets and needle felt the heads. Costumes were created from bits and pieces of a variety of textured papers. It was like playing with paper dolls again... My vision was dressed animals, or people with animal masks, having a wonderful time in a fancy~ball like atmosphere!!! Didn't they turn out WONDERFUL?!?!

Oh! So charming and sweet. I love those kittens. :-)

These classes turned out wonderful projects. Looks like it was a fun day for all. I love your new collar piece. I have admired her work for awhile now! What a fortunate girl you are!

They are all fabulous! So well done!
Btw Ulla I thought of you last Sunday while I was at the flea market and short before we left I found a booth with lot's of old biological school charts, like the Hagemann charts I got you once in new. They were around 100 years old and some still in quite good condition for 60 Euros/piece which is surely worth it. I couldn't decide to buy one because they are so huge, that I dunno where to hang them, but we admired them all with awww and oooh's At the end I bought 3 small bird charts from him and 2 beautiful bird books and some old lace. I told my friend if Ulla from California would see these she'd probably faint right away lol He kindly gave me a card about where I can find him in future just in case he he
