Man, you had a fascinating upbringing! It's no surprise that you have ended up doing what you are doing: everything about your childhood inspired creativity. I so enjoyed reading your interview and looking at the wonderful pictures. As always, thanks for sharing your lovely self with the rest of us.

So nice to read about you and what a wonderful childhood and life! I will be back to check out your blog often. Take care :) Sarah Elizabeth

I read this interview the other day and it held my attention for an age. What a colourful childhood. Fascinating stuff Ulla

Hello,
So now you´re sitting in your studio having breakfast. Is it good? I enjoyed your interview so much. Espacially hearing how it was in school and how you were encouraged to do what you wanted.
I´ve looked through your blog some times and I am always happy to find so much beauty here. Thankyou for that Ulla!

Ulla, I LOVED reading all about you! What a life you've led! It all makes sense now ;D. Such magic didn't happen easily!

Ulla,

I truly enjoyed the interview Susan did of you. It was nice to get to know you better, read about your roots and see where your inspiration for creativity has come from.

Its a Lovely Interview, good for you!

Ulla - thanks for your message... and what a fabulous interview! What a wonderful childhood you had - also with wheels! I think that school sounds great, I love the bird washing tale. I am pleased to see how parents following their thing with their children along too makes for creative and inspired individuals when grown up :) Take care and wishing your an inspired easter! I am glad to have found a fellow lover of folktales and wheels :) Rima

Ulla,

Hi Ulla. Thank you - I really enjoyed reading the interview. What a wonderful, adventurous childhood you had!
Hope you're having a very happy, creative long weekend.

I'm back- LOVED the interview but really, how could she go wrong with you as the subject. Your talent, warmth and humor were evident in every word. Love, love, loved it!

What a lovely interview. I also have breakfast in my studio after years of rising at 6:00a.m. to make it to work for a 8:00 art review.Isn't it a great way to start the day?

Hi Ulla, loved the interview and wish you happy easter.

Ulla!!! I learned things about you that I didn't know!! What a lovely interview, Susan knows a treasure chest when she sees one...

Ulla, the 'article' about you just put all the pieces together so nicely... you have lead and continue to have such an interesting, creative and inspiring life! I wonder if you will ever know how many of us you touch, daily with your blog and your heart? Thank you for letting us all take a peek at your life.

Fascinating as ever, Ulla!

Christine

What a treat for Easter to read your interview.
It is very well done and presented.
You are wonderful Ulla. A true "godmother" of art bloggers.
May your Easter be blessed with peace and wonder.
Big hug.
Erla

Ulla! An Amazing life so far and thank you for sharing! I read your blog daily!

Awesome interview, Susan and Ulla! I enjoyed reading it tonight. Ulla, you truly are a Child of the Sixties! What a creative, gypsy life you had - and are still living. I love that your parents stayed true to themselves, knowing that you kids would turn out well without the traditional lifestyle.

PS - Your painted ceramic dolls are wonderful. I believe it is in my destiny to own one!

PSS - Aside from the carpooling and dog-walking, you and I have veeery similar mornings!

Cool! I'm headin' over... :)
