These delightfully whimsical illustrations are by SARAJO FRIEDEN of California. I love her vibrant and energetic sense of line, and how she has added embroidery touches to her illustrations! Who can resist birdhouse crowns or pockets filled with laughter? So fun!!!
I love the way she has created the Hair and that Birdhouse Crown!, You know how I like Birdcages!

Lovely these illustrations.. what a treasuretrove your blog is! Those lace balloons are wonderful too. I once saw a theatre/puppet/circus type show where they made snow out of lace and passed round and round on a roll in front of the performers. It was very effective even tho I've not described it very well. Happy day to you x Rima
