A Modern Valentine...

I bought this painted porcelain cameo a few months ago from Lindsey Carr's Little Robot Etsy Shop. I love it and immediately made it into a simple pendant to wear as a necklace. Lindsey also has a wonderful BLOG where she shares among other delights, amazing little THEATRES, with moving parts!!! Her sense of detail is supreme, and of course I adore her personal perspective of whimsy!

You are so right, these theatres are magical... Thanks for showing them to us.

Thanks for showing Lindsey Carr's wonderful work. She has such a fantastic sense of...well, fantasy! Her pieces are almost Victorian in their detail and presentation, and yet very edgy and fresh through subject matter. You're right....the detail is what is so fantastic. Really fun to see.

Too Cool, Those theaters look surreal, I love the one with a prince like figure riding on the back of a Dragon

Thanks for telling us about Lindsey! Her art is so wonderful! I often have the urge to create something that has a 3-D aspect to it, or moving parts.....and she is an example of someone who has taken it to a higher level :)
