Recycled Owls and Other Birds...

To say that Kathryn Spence has a gift with trash, is a bit of an under statement! Spence piles and layers scrap fabrics from clothing (coats, towels, curtains, etc.) and makes use of patterned material from disassembled furry plush toys to create her wonderful Owls and other birds. Some also use plastic bags, street trash, rubber bands and lint! A true plethora of daily debris brought together to create flights of fancy!
