Fishy Luminescence...
Years ago, I remember the first time I saw one of Elaine Hanowell's Koi lamps, in a gallery in Berkeley. I loved it then as much as I do now. There is something magical about seeing light within the Koi shape, as if it is swimming down from the moon into a room... Lovely!

Remember those fish flag~type things?
(from when we were girls)? Last time I was in the city I bought two little blue ones in Japan Town. Also, I have some coy charms (movable) These lamps remind me of those too.

Ulla dear, I've been away tooooo long from here. Not getting around blogland as much as I'd like since getting sick. These koi are wonderful, the top one is my fave.
