Fishy Luminescence...

Usahan2001

Years ago, I remember the first time I saw one of Elaine Hanowell's Koi lamps, in a gallery in Berkeley. I loved it then as much as I do now. There is something magical about seeing light within the Koi shape, as if it is swimming down from the moon into a room... Lovely!

Love em. Very colorful and creative.
It reminds me of:
Remember those fish flag~type things?
(from when we were girls)? Last time I was in the city I bought two little blue ones in Japan Town. Also, I have some coy charms (movable) These lamps remind me of those too.

Happy Day to YOU!!

If I show these to my two sons, they will want them immediately. They are real great fishers of carps!
