Winter Classes in Ulla's Studio!
With Christmas just around the corner, my classes at the Castle are at a standstill until late February. Over December the shop classroom is taken over with Christmas merchandise, and January is spent getting Inventory done, re-doing all the displays and getting our class mailer ready for the Spring.
I've decided to take a serious step in teaching more classes out of my studio, based an hour North of San Francisco. Starting in December, I will be offering small classes (limit of 5 students) in a variety of mediums. I am dreaming up classes for January in 'Fabric Printing using Thermofax Screens'; 'Springtime Paper Theatres' and 'Marionettes' among other offerings. If you have anything special you'd like to learn, let me know, and I'll see what I can whip up!
This would be a perfect opportunity to gather a few friends together and come take a private class with me! The winecountry is beautiful this time of year, and there are many wonderful antique shops and cafes near by if you are tempted to make a weekend of it! Email me for more details... SEE SIDE BAR FOR DECEMBER CLASS DETAILS!

Ulla - I love the look of your studio and am feeling jealous of those who get to come take classes in it! :-) Wish I was closer... or ever had a break in my schedule...
Best wishes for all endeavors for the holidays! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

Ohhhhhh...I soooo wish you had a studio on this part of the country, Ulla. I'd sign up in a minute! It's so great that you are teaching from your own studio. Very cool!

Dear Ulla,
It is a great idea and five is a perfect number too.
When my husband and I move to Texas, I intend to do more teaching. I'm thinking in the same wavelength right now.

Marionettes? Did someone say marionettes? Well, just keep a running reservation for me as I will probably want to take all of them. I love the Santa Rosa area. I have family in Sebastopol and spent many weeks there each summer as a child playing with my cousins. Now I get to come and 'play' again!!!
Safe trip to you.
XO-D.

Yes Ulla good luck of course! Your studio sure is a wonderful place for a class! I wanna be Dede! I was also going to ask if you have used real moss for the theatres or is it faux?
