7 Rabbits And 7 Witches In Hayward!

Yesterday I taught my Paperclay Figural Theatre Class to 14 wonderful women from the Flying Phoebes Cloth Doll Club in Hayward! We had Seven Rabbits and Seven Witches sharing space, laughs and stories... Spring time bunnies played with zombie witches... a Kwanzaa rabbit sat next to a circus bunny... and a day of the dead madame found company with a purple skinned witch! The last three photos are 'inside the skirt theatre' details inspiring unimagined stories. What an amazing day!!!

This is very strange, Ulla, there is something really similar between theses dolls and their creators....

Wonderful, each and every one of them. I might have to start saving some pennies to fly out one day and take a class with you...:)

Thanks Ulla for a great class ... I had a blast making my little purple witch!

These creations are terrific! I especially like the witch with the boat and butterfly under her skirt. Very spooky. Very cool. And so perfect for today as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released tonight at midnight!

Oh those are just fabulous! How wonderful and I sure wish I'd been in that class!!!

What a delight !

These dolls are terrific !

I am dying to try too!

Thanks for the inspiration Girls !!!

Your students all did beautiful work. It's interesting to see the artist holding their dolls. You can see their essence infused into each of their works. What fun!

Hmmm.... I'm thinking I need to sign up for this class, too!! They did a great job- all of them! They have the teacher with the magic touch.
