Valentine Angel Box Class in Menlo Park!

Today I had a lovely pre-Valentine class making 'Valentine Angel Boxes' in Menlo Park! As you can see from the photos it was a creative group of ladies! The base is a German paper mache ball (it opens in the center) on top of a 'wood candlestick' from Michaels. I had them make cotton-batting bodies for the angels and then I had pre-cast fimo heads (from an Italian hand-carved angel I own) which we colored with chalks. They were dressed in appropriate red and white papers, trim, glitter and floral lovelies... Each angel has wings, of course... and a few added accessories like umbrellas and heart wands. It was a truly heart-filled wonderful day!!!

Oh my Ulla what a fab idea again! You have the greatest imagination! I have never heard of papermache balls that open in the center, although they are supposed to be German again lol but I so want one! Yes I'm with Linda here, a kit, something for Easter would be wonderful! I also love the idea of putting glitter on a little icecream paper umbrella :D

How fun and festive these are! Is Valentines Day so close already...oh goodness! Happy New YEar!

It looks as if everyone had a grand time creating these!
Hope all is well and happy for you Ulla!

Ulla, These are darling.............This would make a cute kit! Maybe one for Easter:) Just a thought!

Here from Britt-Arnild's and for sure you have a great blog!
These Valentines Angels looks gorgeous:-)

Marta and I are coming over for a Valentine class.......

I wish France was a hop skip and a jump...I would be at one of your classes sooooooooooooooooo fast!!

They are so pretty and I like the idea that they are somewhat concealing a place to hide a treasure.

Do you have a spring schedule for classes at the Castle or even at your studio? I need to plan ahead :-)

sweet and sparkley! love them!

Beautiful Angels! So creative and inventive Ulla. Looks like you all had fun.
The one with the green leaves and the red hat particularly speaks to
me.

What fun! I love how they are all different and full of sparkles! You come up with the BEST classes!
