Christmas Heirloom Altered Book At The Castle
Christmas arrived early at the Castle yesterday, as my students and I created "Christmas Heirloom Altered Books". The idea was to create an album that one could use for the Holidays to keep "Christmas Memories" all in one place. For example: records of traditions, favorite recipes, guests, friends and family, gift lists, cards etc. etc... A Jolly good time was had by all, just look at these pages from the beautiful albums created!!!

beautiful ulla! we have to get you out here...

In Northumberland we have lots of castles and some are in the air (Bamburgh) but I would give anything to spend at day at yours. Fabulous idea - what a great thing to pass down to your kids and grandchildren.

Wahey great new inspiration Ulla thank you! I love the idea of a Christmas heirloom book! Oh the NOEL one is especially gorgeous and I like the lace under the old scalooped photo oh and I love the stocking one too! I own some of the white glossy angel prints too and have just ordered some German gold scraps and borders and other stuff yesterday, can't wait to get my order and start crafting now!

Terrific stuff. I so want to experiment with altered books (in all my lacking spare time....) - it's very high on my list of things to play with, if my current job ever ends....

It is wonderful to see the creativity of people on your site. I would never have the energy (or talent)to do the same but I sure would love to receive one!

Dear Ulla,
What beautiful memories your students have created for themselves or a loved one. I'm always intrigued by what everyone cooks up in your classes at the " Castle". I'm glad you take the pix and take the time to share. Thanks
