Patriotic Celebration in Merryville!
COME ONE COME ALL! MERRYVILLE is having another delightful celebration! Be early and help the children raise the flag - I am told the weather will be perfect, with just a slight breeze to wave the stars and stripes... Come sing with the birds that make Merryville so special...
Young Miss Merryville will lead the parade, gathering up family and friends as she strolls along in her newly purchased boots! Her little brother has been practicing his drums for weeks, being sure he can be heard over the crowds and uniting all those full of energy and spirit!
We have washed our car and trimmed it with flags, (don't tell anyone, but our legs hide boxes of fireworks saved for the evening) Our festival dresses and shirts have been sparkle-cleaned and starched with pride, and we made sure to fold enough PAPER HATs so everyone can celebrate and join in the festivities! Can't wait to see all of you there! HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!

Oh Dear Ulla, I'm so very happy that you will be able to join us in the festivities! It simply wouldn't be the same without you. So kind of you and Michael to fold all those paper hats! My goodness, wherever did you find the time?
Dear do be careful driving that automobile won't you? I've heard tell storys about you and the back end of your car! Rear ended how many times?!!!!
