Life In a Birdsnest...
Ever wonder what it would feel like to be a bird in a nest high up on a building? Benjamin Verdonck, a performance artist from Belgium knows... "Benjamin Verdonck is all set to spend a week in a giant bird's nest made of wood, steel and straw, half-way up a Birmingham landmark. In his eyrie on the iconic Rotunda building, the Belgian theatre artist will appear to grow feathers, produce a golden egg and even attempt to take flight." All this in a nest created of straw, twigs and mud, measuring 9ft by 9ft and erected on the side of a 260ft Rotunda - 130ft up! WOW!

oooh now this is an installation which makes me want to know more. i love this.

BUT it left a wonderful impression. i remember that in the background there were specimen of different plants photographed on various colors of blue and periwinkle! YOU inspire me daily.....~L.
