MERRYVILLE FETE
Well its decided, tomorrow we will take our rose painted Gypsy Wagon pulled by 4 pale grey stallions to Merryville to visit my dear friend Mrs. Staggs. I want to be sure and meet with all of you while I am there, so I am letting you know what I will be wearing so you will have no trouble finding me. I have decided on this lovely gown, with my favorite lilac shoes and rose-trimmed hat, and my Fortuny jacket (just in case the weather turns cold). I found all of these treasures at my favorite little shop downtown, but I left plenty of goodies for the rest of you to choose from! Please join me for a picnic, I will be bringing cucumber sandwiches, and my grandmothers favorite lemon cake to share. Hopefully there will be sunshine so we can ride our paddle-boats, and sing and dance! Yes, it is sure to be the best Easter Fete yet! Looking forward to seeing all of you...
Those shoes! How could a person wear them except to dance on flower petals or silk pillows!? They are too precious to wear out or soil. They remind me of a pair of pink satin vintage heels I used to wear many years ago, when such treasures were still to be found.

oh Ulla! Your outfit is SO beautiful!!! Everything is delectable from the hat down to the shoes! I love the site and may need to go over and get outfitted as well. I am so glad to have found your site.

Oh dear...bringing, I will be bringing strawberries and cream, iced tea and a shortbread bunny for one and all! I'm not quite sure I have it in me to dress up as a bunny!

Oh my Dear Ulla, your Easter finery is the most beautiful I have ever seen! That is truly the loveliest of Easter bonnets too. No one will be able to keep their eyes off of you...or your shoes!

I love that site. I did put together an outfit for Merryville. Come over and see. Not quite as pretty as yours though. Slow down the wagon when you get to Nashville so I can jump on board! I'll pack a basket of goodies for us all to enjoy en route.
