Reliquaries June 23 & 24
This class will be held at Castle In The Air, Berkeley, CA.
Reliquaries are boxes or charms that protect and preserve small mementos. You'll create your own personal one during this two-day class, either reminiscent of ages past or cast in your own style. Ulla will teach you the basic skills necessary: how to cut and construct a miniature box in different shapes, how to use decorative copper edging, how to add tiny trinkets and beads, and how to solder. Size your reliquary to be worn on a necklace or as a brooch, or make it larger to safeguard a treasured item. Each box will contain a special object, vignette, or paper whimsy.
Fee: $175; includes materials, but feel free to bring your own small treasures and ephemera.
Instructor: Ulla Milbrath. Limit: 8 students.

Cancellations made at least 14 days before the first class meeting are eligible for refund or credit. Castle in the Air may cancel a class if fewer than three students enroll. If a class is canceled, students will be contacted and refunded the full class fee
